Effects
Part of designing for lenticular includes deciding what kind of effects will most effectively get your message across or best compliment any artwork (logos, products, etc.) that need to be part of the design. Some popular effects include:
3-D
A powerful and compelling illusion that looks great alone or used in conjunction with other visual effects.
Flip
This is the most dramatic and eye-catching effect. It is ideal for grabbing the attention of a casual passer-by.
Zoom
A way to make a part of your image seem to “leap out” at the viewer. Great for logos or for products you need to emphasize.
Morph
An excellent way of showing growth or transition. With the right imagery, this can be an extremely effective tool.
Animation
Lenticular printing can be used to showcase short animations on a printed surface. We can actually capture a few seconds of a digital video and make it into something that can be viewed at any time, without needing additional equipment.
